The Gorbin is an aquatic species found deep in the oceans of Luaria. In the cold dark waters where few species can survive, the magical light on its head can be seen for hundreds of meters. Curious prey quickly find out that the seemingly slow and lazy Gorbin can dart with incredible speed.

Due to their long lives many Gorbins have traveled thousands of miles underwater even while moving slowly to save energy. Most Gorbins who become companions do so out of a desire for new experiences, and only do so after having spent many years on their own first.

The original concept for the Gorbin was created by the artist Synthaphonograph, and the final base image for the pet was created by Chutkat.
