The Fleuran is an aquatic species found on Saydia. The original concept for the Fleuran was created by the artist Fyne based on an oranda with flowers.
Fleurans are partially photosynthetic so they love soaking up the sun's rays just bellow the surface in warm ponds. Their delicate fins and leaves must be handled gently to avoid harm. In spite of this, they are fierce fighters when threatened making a powerful ally for any companion that can manage them. Fleurans are territorial in nature and view intruders with suspicion. They live in small, tight-knit family groups and are capable of migrating in search of better habitats in case their current home becomes unsuitable.
